Det är inte lätt att vara profet i sitt eget land. I Sverige pratar vi om sjukhusinfektioner och antibiotikaresistens. Men det är inte mycket som händer. Vi försöker minska användningen av antibiotika. Patientsäkerhet har blivit ett populärt ord att skapa konferenser kring. Likaså antibiotikaresistens.
Det svenska medicintekniska företaget Bactiguard: ”Hospital acquired infections are among the top causes of death in the developed countries behind cardio vascular disease, cancer and stroke. Företaget presenterar på Abu Dhabi Medical Congress sina två nya produkter, en ytbelagd CVC och en endotrakealtub. Den svenska Bactiguardtekniken hjälper sjukhus över hela världen för att minska infektioner. I Sverige är det hittills ett (1) landsting som har upphandlat Bactiguard katetrar.
Det är märkligt att man i Sverige ska ha så svårt att ta till sig nya innovationer! Vi har ju trots allt en Svensk Nationell InnovationsStrategi…
